A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Beach day

It never quite feels like Summer until we spend a day at the beach. We met our friends on the first day of Summer for an epic day of surf, sand and togetherness. I am grateful for my friends who were brave and ventured into motherhood at a young age. For us it means we have a whole slew of potential babysitters at our disposal and so many sweet children eager to teach Jasper all sorts of cool things.

I love how Jasper walks with such authority. It is clear to see his spirit is much larger than his stature.

Jasper is my PNW boy through and through. Slimly seaweed, cold water and slippery rocks do not deter him from having fun.

I love how Jasper is able to connect with people both young and old, male and female. He has the ability to see good in everyone he meets and I hope he remains this way forever.

At times this blog feels a little self indulgent, but I am reminded what once started out as record of our little family has grown into much, much more. I am grateful for each and every opportunity this blog affords both me and my family. I could not do what I love without the support of so many of my readers. Thank you for your continued well wishes and interest in our lives.
