This past weekend I was able to attend Seattle Met 's first ever COWABUNGA event. It was not only the largest beef event in America, but a good opportunity for me to put aside my red meat aversion and partake in a ton of deliciously prepared beef. There was a burger competition, an ice cream competition, loads of cheese, amazing spins on classic desserts and endless alcohol. It felt good to rub shoulders with the hard working ranchers and be able to appreciate good food in its purest form. I think I may have packed on a few pounds during this event, but I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute of doing so.
