Mount Baker Lodging

Sometimes you just want to get away for the weekend, but you still want the space and conveniences of being at home with a few bonuses like a hot tub and a fireplace. Mount Baker Lodging has cabins of all shapes and sizes, but this cute little one bedroom "gingerbread house" cabin is new to the mix. This cabin would be perfect for a romantic getaway or for a solo outing in the woods. 

Although this house is small, there is a dedicated mud room which keeps the mess of all the outdoor fun out of the house. 

The living room has a gas fireplace and enough movies, games and books to keep you busy for a few days. 

The bedroom is thoughtfully decorated in mountain decor and has an adjoining bathroom. 

The kitchen is stocked with all the basics and there is a BBQ located outside by the hot tub. All you need to do is dream up the menu for the weekend and do a little grocery shopping. This time we waited until we arrived and did a little grocery shopping at their local store has. I was surprised just how many items they had everything from baking items to beef jerky and sandwich fixings.  

There is nothing quite as relaxing as stargazing while lying back in a hot tub after a busy day of hiking or skiing.
