Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

With strawberry season upon us, I like to to make the most of this short season by using up as many strawberries as I can. We have been eagerly harvesting strawberries by the handful and I am always pleasantly surprised at the variety of berries we have in our little garden. From teeny tiny alpine berries to larger berries like Hood, Rainier, and Shuskan.
