A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

The Blue Angels

We had not intended to watch the Blue Angels this year, but before we knew it we had spent two full afternoons swimming, picnicking and basking in the sunshine as they zipped and zoomed overhead. Going into the weekend I had decided I did not want to deal with the hassle of it all. However, on Friday last minute I remembered the beach where we could easily watch them from. I am glad we made the trek and found a new place to hang out during these last hot weeks of Summer.

Shortly after seeing the Blue Angels and witnessing Jasper cover his ears for most of their performance I made certain to order Jasper some noise canceling headphones for the next time we go see something loud like this again. We don't often take him to sporting events or concerts so it wasn't until we were there I realized I should have come better prepared.

We ended the day with sand between our toes and found a popsicle truck that sold popsicles as big as our heads.
