A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

It ended in stitches

Cameron and I had a jam packed weekend. We went golfing with our friends Rob and Kimmi, we could not have asked for better weather nor a more patient couple to go with. Thanks guys!! After golfing we headed up to Snow Lake with my little sister to show her what "real" weekend fun is. I think about a third of the way up she had her doubts about what we consider fun. Once we made it up to the lake, we were hot and ready for a dip in the lake, even though it still had ice patches on it. All went well until a certain someone decided to take his shoes off and that is when the real weekend excitement began. Upon getting out of the water that same certain someone cut his foot on a sharp rock and left bloody pools wherever he stepped. Fortunately, he was calm and had the presence of mind to wrap his foot with his sock. We made it down the mountain and to the emergency room with one hiking boot filled with blood. Yuck! Five stitches and more comments on his shirt we made it out of there. My initial thought was, "boy the lengths he will go to get out of running"....just kidding. We are very relieved he is a toughy and that it was not something even worse.
