After the farmer's market we had lunch at the General Store and tried lahvosh for the first time. Lavosh is an Armenian cracker which they then top like a pizza. Once full, we headed down the country roads and came across the most wonderous place on the island, Seabreeze Farm where there is a wonderous u-pick. Between the sun shining, the clear blue skies and berries the size of silver dollars I was in heaven. I long to live in a place like this, well minus the work, but with the bounty right outside your doorstep. Most notably it was Cameron's first berry picking expedition and I assured him that it does not get better than this. If not for the fact that we were short on cash I could have easily dropped a ton of money here. They had blueberries, Chesterberries and Locknessberries, raspberries and golden berries. Apparently, the Chesterberries and the Lockness berries are a variety of blackberries, except for the fact that they are thornless and a tad less sweet. They are perfection not only in form and size, but who does not love a thornless bush to pick from??
