I saw these great cookie cutters at Safeway and just had to have them. I thought to myself that pumpkin shaped sugar cookies would be the proper way to start October. I soon realized what I have known all along that sugar cookies can be a lesson in patience. Just when you think you are done you realized there is still another lump of dough waiting to be rolled out. I was glad that I had the foresight to make half a batch because we have cookies coming out of our ears. Such is the trouble when there is only the two of you, coworkers are often the benefactors of such excess.
