A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Just the two of us

There exists an unparalleled sense of peace while communing with nature. Whether it be the rhythmic sound of your breathing, the rushing of waterfalls or the soft ground giving a spring to your step, the experience can feel down right magical. This weekend we descended upon the mountain to find ice, slush, snow, rain and solitude.

Summer hiking may have a strong hold on good weather, but Winter/early Spring hiking beats it out with no crowds. Even though there was snow, the air temperature was warm for this time of year.

Once we approached the lake it started to rain harder, so we took refuge amongst the trees and ate a quick snack. The lake was blanketed by snow except for one small patch which was in stark contrast to what we had seen prior here this past fall. The ebb and flow of seasons and weather has a severe impact on our natural surroundings which makes revisiting places a constant lesson in change.
