A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Lake Serene and Bridal Veil Falls

When looking at the weather over these past few weeks, I have been delighted to find the most beautiful days repeatedly occurring on Saturdays. This past Saturday was no different, so we swapped in our normal concrete surroundings for moss laden trees and nutrient rich forest grounds. We hiked the 23 switchbacks and 3.6 miles to Lake Serene, passing by Bridal Veil Falls in the process. Once at the lake it was a tad windy, but we were able to enjoy a quick snack as we watched the snow come tumbling down off of Mt. Index in the afternoon sunlight. We rounded the day off on a perfect note; an evening meal with friends at one of our favorite restaurants.

One of those days

Happy weekend
