A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Take One

With my bounty of berries I decided I should make something.

For lunch the other day I made our first smoothies and Cameron made our first homemade popsicles of the season. They both had their kinks, but now we know for next time.

Homemade fruit smoothie:

1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup apple juice
2 cups strawberries
1 cup raspberries

The smoothie was a tad tart. If you like a sweeter smoothie, you might want to use vanilla instead of plain yogurt or add a bit of honey.

Cameron is all about the chocolate so he whipped up a Carnation Instant Breakfast popsicle.

A shoulder to cry........I mean crap on
