A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Traditions

Christmas Ships 2009 (......or the year of the blurry photograph)

Having several holiday traditions is fun, but once the list becomes obligatory all the fun gets zapped out of it. We like to keep things fresh around here by trying a few new things each year; one year we threw a New Years Eve party, another year we had a Christmas party and one year we left the entertaining to others.

Here is a small sampling of some of our holiday traditions:

1. Riding on the Argosy Christmas Ships

2. Seeing the Christmas Carol at the ACT Theatre

3. Watching The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (the Jim Carey version)

4. Keeping the gift giving to a minimum, by only doing stockings for each other

5. Baking lots of sweet treats

6. Delivering plates of goodies to friends

7. Spending lots of time downtown to enjoy all the lights and festivities

8. Picking out our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving and walking home with it

9. Snowshoeing on Saturdays when the snow is plentiful

10. Checking out the gingerbread houses at the Sheraton Hotel
