I have never been a big fan of applesauce. But like most store bought concoctions, once you have eaten a homemade version your opinion oftentimes changes. I had such an abundance of apples from our picking excursion last weekend, I found myself googling "recipes that use a lot of apples". Time and time again applesauce kept coming up. Now I know I prefer the chunky variety and this recipe was perfect for a novice like me.
