A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

"Happy" Holidays

Our den is an odd space, basically a designer's windowless nightmare and catch all room. It also happens to be the first thing you see when you walk into our home. Our rainbow color book display is cheery enough, but I wanted to draw the eye upward from the collection of Christmas ship photos we have lining the top. Suddenly I got the idea to write whatever I wanted with push pins and then wrap it in yarn. I know I have seen similar things down at places like Anthropologie, so the idea is not completely original, but I think it has always been done with nails.  I like the temporariness of the push pins and just looking at the phrase "happy" just makes you feel a little lighter.
