A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Sunshine and easter eggs

This past weekend was spectacular!! The weather was glorious, we tried an amazing new restaurant, attended our first bbq of the year, decorated more easter eggs, took in a hike, enjoyed a long walk, attended church in our Easter finery, and had our first dinner party outside on our deck. It was indeed a Happy Easter around this house.

Tom Douglas opened Cuoco almost a year ago, but it was our first time to give it a try. Being there encouraged me to try my hand at homemade pasta again.

We timed our hike perfectly, everyone must have been doing an egg hunt then.
Our friends invited us over to decorate Easter eggs. This was my first time to do something like this, so Cameron and I produced this adorable little couple.
We arose early before church to enjoy our annual Easter breakfast. This year I kept it simple with a Strawberry Clafouti.
After church and in between dinner prep we took a long walk in the sunshine.

Our first dinner party out on the deck.

In order to kick off Spring, I like to make this Old fashion berry cake.
Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend.
