A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Be selective on your focus

There are so many advantages to pulling your camera out of auto focus into manual mode. Photographs, particularly flowers are much more dramatic when everything is not equally focused on.  Be selective in what you focus on, well that could be a great mantra for life too.
Focus on the center of a flower for a dramatic photo which pulls your eye in.
Leave the entire photo a tad blurry for a dream like quality.
Focus on the first bright, bold flower in a row.
Focus on some random points to keep your eye moving around the photograph.
Blur out the background to make a photo less busy.
