The other evening we were able to spend a fantastic night at Seattle Met's "Boysterous"at the Space Needle. We were able to sample a variety of oysters from seven different vendors, all while taking in views of the city and enjoying live music. I really enjoyed be able to try such fresh seafood and it once again made me realize what amazing access Seattle has to great food.
One vendor even took the time to demonstrate how to carefully shuck an oyster and reiterated the qualities which make a superior oyster. I quickly realized how very little I know of oysters and it was fun to learn about what a cult like following the Kumamoto Oyster has.
After we were done sampling, we enjoyed a trip up to the observation deck wind and all. Such a great night and such a fun city to explore the vibrant, ever changing food scene.
