I cannot say enough good things about Mazama and Winthrop, it is peaceful, beautiful and a great place to get away for a long weekend. We visited at the perfect time as the leaves were changing and the sun was still shining. We enjoyed walks along the river, hiking through the mountains and using the word "pretty" in almost every description of the landscape. Being outdoors will always fill my heart with happiness and Mazama will always have a special place in my heart.
