I was tagged by the lovely Melinda of Melinda's Musings to do a little Q & A.

1. What is/was your biggest dream? 

To establish a home where love and faith prevail. 

2. What's your favorite quote?

Surround yourself with the dreamers and doers and the believers and thinkers, but most of all surround yourself with those who see greatness within you. 

3. Where have you been and where are you going?

Where I have been: Iceland, Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Bora Bora, Moorea, Canada, Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala and all over the US.

Where I plan to go: Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Thailand, the more remote or rugged the better.  

4. What/who inspires you?

Nature and kind, thoughtful, and generous people. 

5. If you had to write a motto to describe the way you live your life, what would it be?

Document your life, foster your relationships and spend as much time outdoors as possible. 

6. Any hidden talents?

I have perfected the art of making brownies and enjoy creating stellar itineraries for our epic vacations. 

7. Favorite outdoor activity?

I can't just pick one, so my top four are hiking, kayaking, running and long walks around my neighborhood. 

8. Favorite thing about being a blogger?

A wonderful format for meeting other creative people and gaining insight into other people's worlds. 

9. Homemade dinner or take-out? 

There is nothing more rewarding than making a delicious meal, but going out to eat is equally fun since you don't have to do the dishes.

10. Favorite book?

I am currently working on growing my children's book collection, so anything by Oliver Jeffers. 

11. What is the best thing that happened to you today?

It was sunny outside and I went on a weeknight date with my husband.
