Snoqualmie Falls

The hiking trail at Snoqualmie Falls finally reopened (a month ago) after having been closed (far too long) for renovations. One sunny afternoon last week, we decided to hike down the newly remodeled trail, only to find out not much has changed.

When Cameron and I first started dating we would spend a lot of time coming here and hanging out in the sunshine on the rocks at the bottom of the falls. This was the place where Cameron told me he loved me, eventually proposed to me and where we had our engagement photos taken. Despite becoming more commercialized, touristy and overrun with traffic this place has significant meaning to us and it always will.

On this particular day, the filtered sunlight through the leaves really caught my eye, well that and the handsome man pictured on the left.
