A Garden Party
Every year the women in my church congregation get together and have a Garden Party. This has been a tradition for as long as I can remember and this year I had the privilege of hosting it at my home. In years past, it has been held at some pretty beautiful homes with equally stunning gardens so I felt a lot of pressure to make it special.
To do something different, I thought it would be fun to make flower corsages for all the women. With the help of my friend, Alyssa, we were able to pump out forty unique corsages in a matter of an hour. It was fun to walk around and give the women a choice of which one they would like to wear. Without a doubt, they made all the women feel special and proved to be a hit!
Although our garden is nothing special, it was fun to host all the women in my congregation for an evening of delicious food, friendship and good conversation. I am lucky to have the love and support of a variety of women from all walks of life. There is nothing quite as binding as a common belief in a higher power.
