A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Out and About with Kids: A snow day

Out and About with Kids: A snow day

When you live in Seattle it is not very often that it snows. Last week, we were blessed to wake up to not only one, but two snow days. It was so exciting it felt like Christmas had come early. It was the perfect day to cut the tags off of Jasper's new snow bibs and break them in. Once we were bundled up we headed out for our snowy adventure. Sadly, on both days the snow quickly turned to rain and like most wonderful moments in life, it was a bit short lived.

Our sweet neighbor was nice enough to run outside and snap this photo of us. We are fortunateto live in a place where the people around us care about our little family.

The snow was one big water buffet for Jasper.

Ah, the endless glove battle! It doesn't matter what kind of gloves we use or how many times I try to explain how he will happier he will be with his gloves on, he really likes to pull them off. If any of you parents have any suggestions, I am all ears.
