A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Reykjavik

Reykjavik

Reykjavik will always be one of those places that feels like a friend; familiar and yet endlessly interesting. While we were in Iceland we spent a couple of days exploring the city. We enjoyed shopping in the brightest and cheeriest children's store called Iglo + Indi as they were incessantly patient with our enthusiastic little shopper, enjoying some of the best fish soup and fish and ships we have ever had in our lives at Reykjavik Fish and Chips, visiting Hallgrímskirkja, and enjoying an ice cream break amidst all our wandering.

Purchasing this little knit viking hat was quite possibly one of the best impromptu purchases we made on this trip. This little hat kept Jasper warm as we experienced cooler than expected temperatures in Norway and provided for endless photo ops and entertainment throughout our trip.

We stumbled upon the sweetest drawings of Hallgrimskirkja made by a local kindergarten class. I loved the individuality of each one and wanted to meet the children behind the drawings.

The bright and inspiring shop of Iglo and Indi. Jasper insisted on carrying around these lions and redecorating the shop as much as possible during our visit there and the staff could not have been kinder or more patient with him.

No matter the weather, an ice cream cone is always a good idea to us!

Reykjavik Fish and Chips was so delicious we ate there not once, but twice in one day. We figured we probably will not be back in the near future so we might as well get as much of this amazing fish soup as possible in one trip.

Jasper was equally enamored with the soup and during our trip learned the art of dipping your bread into soup.
