Lights, lights and more lights
There are so many fun places to go to see Christmas lights this time of year. Here are a few of our favorites:
Menashe and Hemstettler Houses in West Seattle. The Menashe house is decorated to the max. Complete with an outdoor train set, Santa in an airplane and more lights and inflatables than you could ever imagine setting up. The Hemstettler House has its Christmas lights set to music and if you park close enough you can tune in from the comfort of your own car while sipping hot cocoa.
Candy Cane Lane near University Village. Due to the constant parade of cars which clog this neighborhood. We prefer to look at these lights on foot.
Pike Place Market is a fun spot to visit this time of year. There is a tree, colorful fruit and a sled pulled by pigs instead of reindeer.
As much as we like colorful lights around town we prefer to keep more of a calm and bright tree at home with white lights, silver and gold ornaments and always, always the freshest little tree we can find at our local nursery.
