A day in the life of an adventuring toddler
As we start each day Jasper likes to ask the question "What we are going to do today?" His most common retort to his own questions is "Let's go on an adventure". Now the term "adventure" can be attached to a wide assortment of activities from visiting a local farm or park to hopping aboard a ferry and going some place farther afield. Normally, we save our bigger "adventures" for Saturdays and this time our main goal was to escape the deluge of rain which decided to hit Seattle on Saturday. Without much effort we were able to escape the rain, spend an afternoon at the beach, partake in a few of our favorite treats, browse the local galleries and remind ourselves how beautiful this place is no matter the weather.
A wet and windy ferry ride.
When we are out and about Jasper likes to take the lead. Now he might not know where we are going or what we are doing, but he always act like he knows exactly what is going on.
Rows of fresh baked bread at Knead and Feed.
Waiting for his pancake and reminding me "Waiting is not easy".
The beach will always be one of our favorite places.
When all you need are rocks, sticks and water to be happy.

And after a day of fun, we then we returned to a very wet and soggy Seattle.
