Granite Mountain
Autumn is arguably the best time of year in the PNW for hiking. The trails are ablaze with color, the crowds of Summer had dwindled to almost nothing and it feels as though we have our beloved hiking trails all to ourselves for a few short weeks before the snow makes its inevitable arrival. Sunshine brings out the crowds, mainly because hiking in the rain is not for the faint of heart. However, those foggy, moody days are the epitome of living in Seattle and even after all those years I cannot get enough.
