A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Friends make life better

This weekend we had the rare opportunity to go hiking with our dear friends, Lynn and Steve. We decided to take them up to one our favorite spots, Rattlesnake Ridge and it could not have been a more delightful day. For mid November, the weather was perfect, the skies were relatively clear and amongst several noteworthy events we we feed birds. We have gone up to Rattlsnake Ridge probably twenty times or so, but we have never had such a fun experience. We brought along snacks as usual, but this time decided to share them with the birds. To our great amazement the birds were fearless and literally were eating out of the palms of our hands. At first it was a bit daunting watching the birds swoop in, hover or land and snatch the grape up in their mouths before flying away, but Lynn and I were brave and ended up joining in on the fun. Thanks for the great day, where are we going to go hiking next??
