A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Easter treat bags

When I have guests over for a holiday meal I like to have a little treat at each place setting. Easter has a tendency to sneak up on me when it is at the end of March, so here is an easy treat you can pull together with minimal planning and effort.

You will need the following:

package of edible easter grass
chocolate truffles
jelly beans
m&ms or brightly colored candies
colored buttons
floral wire/thin gauge wire
package of flat silk flowers
ribbon

Directions:

1. Create a little nest out of the edible grass in the palm of your hand. Place chocolate truffle in center and place jelly beans and m&ms around it. Put in cellophane bag and tie with a ribbon.
2. Thread wire through button and then through the silk flower. Twist wire around bag.

For an easy floral centerpiece: crumple up a paper bag, place any water filled glass or vase in bag, tie with ribbon and add flowers. Instantly looks like a little more effort than placing flowers directly into a vase.
