A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Fringy cards

Fringy cards

After the holidays there are so many excellent reasons to send cards. Notes to hostesses, thank you notes for gifts, and the ongoing need for birthday cards.  Instead of rushing out to the store, why not make these  festive handmade fringy cards. All you will need is the following:

  • set of blank notecards
  • crepe paper
  • scissors
  • glue

1.  Depending on whether you want to make a vertical or horizontal card, measure the card to see how long your crepe paper strips should be and cut the strips accordingly.

2. Fold your crepe paper strips in half and make cuts every 1/4-1/8" to create your fringe. Once you have made your fringe add a thin line of glue to the top backside of your fringe and attach to your card.

3. Continue to make fringe and attach to card as desired.

Voila! A festive, easy to make thank you note that will stand out in the mail.
