Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

When we stay in Mazama we like to make a day trip to Winthrop. We find it is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon. We enjoy winding our way through the various boutiques and having lunch.

A couple of our favorite places in Winthrop are:

East 20 Pizza for either lunch or dinner. The food is consistently delicious and the service is usually speedy, although their pizzas are good our favorite are their calzones. 

For all our chocolate needs we always make it a point to stop at Sheri's Sweet Shoppe. The chocolate covered oreos and caramel squares are our favorite!
