A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Easter weekend

Easter weekend

If there is one thing you can never count on around here it is the weather report. The forecast called for gloomy weather over Easter weekend and it ended up being the exact opposite- it was glorious! As a result we spent almost the entire weekend outside; drinking in the fresh air, going on long walks, visiting the new Top Pot that opened in our neighborhood and eating a delicious meal at Chandler's. My advice to anyone who says you cannot take an infant to a nice restaurant; is dress them up. Instead of getting dirty looks people go crazy for them and comment on how adorable they look. Easter was also the perfect excuse to get dressed up and take a few family photos in the backyard.

Since this was Jasper's first Easter I made certain we celebrated in style. I purchased a special Easter outfit for him and gave him an Easter basket filled with practical baby items like a little wooden car, a rubber ducky, a bunny book and some fancy latching spoons. Although he will most likely not remember any of this; these are the moments I will lock away in my heart forever.
