A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Being a tourist in Seattle

Being a tourist in Seattle

This Summer Cameron's brother, Ryan, and his family visited us from Oklahoma. We took this rare opportunity to be together and played tourists with them for the weekend. One afternoon we had lunch at Elliott's on the Seattle waterfront and then enjoyed the Argosy Locks Tour. It was the quintessential overcast Summer Seattle day, not too hot or too cold. When the weather is extreme everywhere else, we are reminded why we live here.

As we left Lake Union and made our way to the Ballard Locks we cruised on by the Sleepless in Seattle house.

Lake Union is always a buzz with all different types of boat traffic from kayaks, to sailboats and seaplanes.

Going under the Fremont Bridge with only an inch or so clearance.

It is always a thrill to watch the water rise and fall while being in a boat in the Ballard Locks.

One of our personal favorite restaurants, Ray's and where we had our wedding reception.

Discovery Park

The Seattle waterfront with the Smith Tower on the far right which was the tallest building this side of the Mississippi for many years long ago.

One of the very best ways to explore Seattle is to be on the water. It gives you a different perspective of the city and helps you better understand the different bodies of water and how they all interact with one another.
