Our holiday staycation

Each year we try to squeeze in a staycation before the hustle and bustle of the holidays takes over. This year we found there to be less crowds and less craziness downtown and were able to have an overall pretty relaxing trip. After checking into our hotel we started our weekend off in the city by meeting up with some our dearest friends for brunch at Serious Biscuit. After an afternoon of picking up bargains we met up with some other friends for cocoa and to see the Macy’s star lit up. The next morning, we spent a majority of our time at Pike Place Market visiting with Santa, saying hello to his reindeer, decorating sugar cookies and perusing all the specialty vendors. The city is always a fun place to be during the holidays and a staycation is the perfect start to the holiday season.
