One of my favorite parts of warmer weather is dining al fresco. The food seems to taste better, the mood a bit more festive and everyone typically has a better time. Our friends were coming over for dinner and I knew our little deck would not do the trick, so I decided to take our table and chairs downstairs and out in our common backyard. So what if some of our neighbors thought it to be a little odd, they were just jealous right??
It is so easy to make these parmesan crisps. Shave 2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese into a pile on top of a silpat. Bake at 400 degrees or until they start to bubble. Voila. Fancy salad toppers.
