A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Jack Frost nipping at your nose

Saturday morning, we left a sunny blue skied Seattle only to find a lightly snowing and snow dusted Snoqualmie Pass. It is crazy what a difference forty minutes can make. Seeing my first snowfall this season, made me both eager and sad for the upcoming Winter. As much as I was going to miss snowshoeing this Winter, I had made peace with not being able to go until late Winter or early Spring. Now, I find myself free to snowshoe until my heart is content which is yet another heartbreaking reminder our baby is gone. Before I know it Christmas will be here and then we will be embarking on a new year. I am ready for a new year as much as I am ready to strap on my snowshoes and climb those hills, sweat off those extra pounds and enjoy the holidays and all that is wonderful in my life.

Enjoying the same activities as my spouse has made for a richer life.

After the Summer months, the trails thin out and you typically have the place to yourself.

This vista just feels like home in the Winter months.

Everything is prettier covered in snow.

It looked as though someone took a gigantic bag of powder sugar and spread it everywhere.

Capturing the beauty of a single snowflake is both challenging and well worth it.

A wickedly good time
