A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

This year I have focused my attention on becoming more aware of all the wonderful "makers" who live, breathe and create right in my own backyard. When choosing to purchase something I make a conscious choice to first look locally to fill my need. I realize the growing importance of reducing my carbon footprint, but equally important a ton of cool things are manufactured right here in Seattle or the Pacific Northwest. When I stumbled upon Makrbox I was ecstatic because their vision paralleled mine.

What is Makrbox?

MakrBox is a monthly subscription box compromised of independent makers from across the Pacific Northwest. Makrbox is a fantastic way to support the local economy, encourage the manufacturing of locally made items and a great way to discover local craftspeople.

Depending on your subscription each month you will receive 2 or 3 curated artisan products.

The Makrbox I received included two items: letterpress notecards from Constellation and Co. and an up cycled cup from Studio Man-u-fact. Aside from these items there were also two Makers cards which talked about the artisan, their background and a little bit about their company.

Makrbox would be the ideal gift for the person who has everything, a friend who just recently moved to the Seattle area or would be equally wonderful as a gift for yourself. I love discovering new local artisans and Makrbox does all the leg work for you. All you have to do is sign up
