A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Hello Fall.......oh wait!.......Summer is back.

One of the saddest days of the year is the day I put away my flip flops and shorts and go back to wearing closed toes shoes and long pants. Coming from a girl who loves Fall, it is not that I dislike wearing shoes or jeans, but I will miss watching my legs become darker and the tan lines on my feet becoming more pronounced.

The transition from Summer to Fall is like a dance. A little give and a little take. Just when you think Fall is going to take the lead, Summer steps in and takes back over. It is a confusing time clothing and dinner wise. One cool, crisp morning I was raking leaves and making preparations for a beef stew dinner, but by the time dinner rolled around it was nearly 80 degrees outside!!

As I go from kneading dough to eating popsicles; I am not only utterly confused on what to wear, but what to make for dinner. For now I will keep wearing flip flops and shorts.......and what until the rain decides to stick around for good.

I like to use this Lighter Chicken Pot Pie recipe, but Pate Brisee for the crust.
