Spokane and The Flying Goat
On our way home from Montana we made a pit stop in Spokane to stretch our legs and eat lunch. Since our stop over coincided with a holiday, there was a large street fair at Waterfront Park and hoards of people everywhere. The entire time we were there, the sky threatened to let loose.
Whenever I am in an unfamiliar city and don't know where to eat I like to consult the internet for the top ten best places to eat. Normally, you can't go wrong with going with the general consensus of an area.
The top ten included a Thai, American and a pizza place, so big surprise we chose the later. The Flying Goat was the name of the pizza place and for the name alone, it was worth trying. Once there it was clear to see we had made a brilliant decision. The portions were generous, the flavors intense, the prices reasonable and the quality top notch.
Next time you are in Spokane you ought to check out the flowers at Riverfront Park and the Flying Goat, you won't be disappointed.
