Paternity leave survival kit
Aside from counting down the days until our baby arrives, I am also eagerly counting down the days until Cameron is home on paternity leave. It will be such a joyous occasion to spend my days with two of my favorite boys by my side. In celebration of this special time in our lives, I thought it would be fun to put together a simple, but thoughtful little paternity survival kit for Cameron.
Although we as women do most of the hard work when it comes to pregnancy and child birth I think it is often overlooked how valuable and awesome our husbands are. Cameron is my rock and so I thought it would only be fitting to surprise him with a few little gifts.
When Cameron was young he had an affinity towards cows, so it only seemed fitting he would enjoy reading Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type to our baby.
No one loves chocolate as much as Cameron does. So when I spotted the It's a Boy Seattle Chocolate it seemed like the perfect thing to celebrate the arrival of little one with.
Cameron loves soda every now and then, in particular root beer. Dad's seemed like a delicious reminder of the important role he will play in our son's life.
A delicious smelling soy candle from P.F. Candle Co. seems like the perfect thing to light once our little guy goes to bed.
A thoughtful card is always nice to receive for any occasion, but the foxy baby daddy card was too cute to pass up.
I often joke about how nice it would be if Cameron was a chef. The title of this particular book caught my eye and was too cute not to buy it. If anything we will both get a good laugh out of it. Gentlemen, start your ovens!
