Easter baskets for little ones
This year Easter comes early (at the end of March!), so I have done my best to get a head start so I can avoid aimlessly roaming around Target the night before. If I am going to spend money on Jasper's Easter basket I want it to be filled with things I know he will both use and love.
Jasper, like most children is a big fan of stuffed animals. In my book, the softer the animal the better so I usually gravitate to Jelly Kats. Since his love for dogs grows daily I found this sweet little puppy named Bashful to put in his basket this year.
I found a cute little plaid bow tie at Target to put around his neck, which Jasper will later use to wear to church this Spring.
Jasper has a mouth full of teeth and is determined to brush them himself, so I thought this sweet little Jack and Jill ergonomic toothbrush might help him ward off those sugar bugs.
We have yet to venture into the world of Playdoh, but this fun assortment of colors just begged to be put in his basket this year.
I found these adorable little Bubbimals in the shape of a bunny and the carrot wand and reasonable price tag sealed the deal on it becoming an Easter necessity.
Growing up with a unique name I could never find anything with my name on it. So when I spotted this book featuring a duck named Jasper I just had to buy it for my little guy.
This year we are going to fill a few plastic eggs on our lawn and see if Jasper is excited to pick them up. I am not certain what I am going to fill them with, but knowing Jasper he would pleased if they were filled with rocks, sticks and dirt.
