Spring Travel ideas

Usually come mid February I start itching for Spring. I like to day dream of all the warm places I would like to visit and start planning something fun for mid April or May. For any of you like minded individuals looking to escape the cold may I suggest four places:

Honolulu, Hawaii: From Seattle, Honolulu is the easiest and most tropical destination you can reach in half a day. From hiking to snorkeling check out all we did on a shoestring budget here, here and here. 

Miami, Florida: There is more to Miami than its crazy night life or as a jump off point for a cruise. From Art Deco, to shopping and beautiful beaches there is plenty to keep you entertained for a few days in this bustling city. We spent a few days here on our way to Central America, but I would definitely go back here for a long weekend. 

Panama: Over the past ten years money from both North and South America has poured into Panama. Treat yourself and enjoy a relaxing stay at the posh Trump Tower. You can take day trips to the jungle or the beach or find yourself perfectly content relaxing by the pool and enjoying all the luxury which surrounds you. 

Granada, Nicaragua: European charm collides with Central America's openness. Granada is a reasonably priced destination with remarkable scenery, adventures galore and the perfect place to escape the crowds and soak up the sun.
