A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Capturing fleeting moments

Capturing fleeting moments

Our memories are never as good as we would like them to be. I cannot tell you how many time photographs have played an integral part in jogging my memory of years past. Just this past week, after a hard rain storm I ran out to capture our cherry blossom tree in full bloom. I wanted to capture its brilliance before the wild spring weather turned its delicate petals into confetti all over our lawn.

Looking through these photos I am reminded the importance of capturing fleeting moments. Whether it be a tree in full bloom or your constantly growing child, although we intrinsically know these moments won't last sometimes we are slow to capture the moment. Here is to capturing more fleeting moments and being glad we did.
