A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Anniversary dinner

Anniversary dinner

Every year in celebration of our anniversary we have dinner at Ray's boathouse. Ray's is a special place to us because this is where we had our wedding reception. Adjacent to the restaurant is a private building which can be rented out for events. It is nice to have such a scenic and special place to return to year after year. After a cloudy day the skies momentarily parted and we were able to enjoy dinner outside on the deck.

Throughout dinner we were able to watch tugboats, sailboats, kayakers, stand up paddlers and airplanes go by. In addition, we saw a pelican and a couple harbor seals go by. Lucky for us, our anniversary coincides with Copper River salmon season. I was eager to order their daily special, while Cameron ordered a classic cheeseburger and said it was one of the best ones he has had in awhile.

It is always unpredictable what you will end up with when you ask other people to take your photo, but here it is our table with a view.

After dinner we did a little photo shoot at Golden Gardens, but between the wind and feeling chubby I was not feeling very photogenic. In more exciting news, our baby is starting to kick and do gymnastics inside of me on a daily basis. There is a certain thrill to being caught off guard those first few weeks of feeling your baby move. No matter how many times I am pregnant, I will always find the process and the human body amazing.
