Signs of Spring
I don't think it is a coincidence Washington has been experiencing a wetter than usual year and I have been spending as much time as possible either searching for the perfect plants at my local nursery or tending to my vegetable garden. According to the Seattle Weather blog "This March is now Seattle’s fourth-wettest on record, with 7.26 inches of rain — nearly double the monthly norm of 3.72 inches. When combined with February, which logged 8.85 inches of precipitation (the second-highest total ever observed in that month), Seattle is experiencing its soggiest February-March period since weather records began in the 1890s." Well, I have high hopes for Spring and whenever I see glimpses of it I feel the need to document it and capture it forever. In my entire life the weather has never gotten me down, but this year in particular the rain and gray days seem like they are never going to end.
Most of these photos were taken last year during the months of March, April and May in Seattle.
