A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Weekend in Oklahoma

Weekend in Oklahoma

This past weekend we spent a long weekend in Oklahoma. It has only taken us twelve years to visit Ryan's brother, but we were happy we finally did. Jasper loved it because there were plenty of "big trucks" and we loved it because everything was green, it wasn't muggy or humid yet, we enjoyed lots of delicious tacos and we were able to see that despite what Seattle is showing us blue skies still exist.

There were many highlights during our brief time there, but here are a few:

Myriad Botanical Gardens a lovely place to spend an afternoon.

Cultivar: delicious tacos where heirloom corn is ground to make tortillas and homemade chips hold their own.

Plenty: a fun locally owned shop with handcrafted items and a teeter totter outside.

Fuzzy's: more delicious tacos in a budget friendly, fast food setting.
