Lowman Beach
In my opinion, one of the most underrated beaches in West Seattle is Lowman Beach. I think in large part because not everyone knows it even exists and partially because finding a parking spot can be a pain. On a particularly foggy day a few weeks back we headed down to Lowman Beach for some rock throwing and beach time.
During our beach time a few things struck me, first and foremost Jasper is growing like a weed and second, I am constantly in awe of Jasper's stamina for rock throwing. Whether the rocks are big or small Jasper can toss them into the water for hours. Even more impressive he never seems to tire of it or get sore. Fog isn't a very common occurrence for us, so it was fun to spend a morning watching the fog roll in and out with my beach loving boy.
I am grateful for these simple days of being together and enjoying the beauty which surrounds us. I know I will look back on these days as some of the most fulfilling days of my existence.
