Jasper and I

As a parent I think it is important to take lots of photographs with your child. I know many people feel like they are not photogenic, but for better or for worse life can change in an instant and an everyday photo turns into treasures. I think it is important to not only be there physically for your child, but to capture the big and small moments in your life. In the end, it is only you who notice your flaws and not your children, your spouse or your friends. I had to laugh when putting together these photos because it appears I only own one black jacket and more often than not my hair is a wind blown mess. On deeper reflection, I see a collection of genuine smiles and countless images of one proud mama. I hope long after he is grown he will enjoy looking through these photos and see not only what adventures we had, but how much I love him.
