Wild and free
Our favorite thing to do as a family is be outside and explore. While we were in Long Beach, WA we spent an afternoon visiting the North Beach Lighthouse and walking around Beards Hollow. Although the lighthouse is currently being renovated, the views from the lighthouse and surrounding areas are stunning. With minimal effort you get amazing views like this and I am constantly reminded what a beautiful and diverse place Washington state is.

The world is such a wondrous place for a child. Having children has proven to bring back the wonder in my eyes too.

And when your little legs cannot carry you any farther or you want a better view there is always Dad to hitch a ride on.
