Gold Creek Pond
Instagram is great for all kind of visual inspiration. From cooking to travel and everything in between. I constantly find myself ear marking places I want to see and things I want to make. A couple weeks ago, I saw some beautiful family photos from a trail I have never been to called Gold Creek Pond. Once we arrived and saw group after group of people dressed up clearly getting ready to take family photos it appeared we had stumbled upon an already VERY popular spot.
The trail is short, flat and clearly marked around a large pond. During our time there we were able to avoid the crowds, have our first snow ball fight of the season, and drink cocoa in the chilly weather. It was a good place to test out Jasper’s new snow bibs and we also practiced putting Jasper’s mittens on and off what felt like a million times. Jasper was thrilled by our short time in the snow and I can’t wait to go back when it is truly a Winter Wonderland.
