Jasper's first time snowshoeing!!
I have dreamt of our little family snowshoeing together ever since I first found out I was pregnant with Asher. Six years later and those dreams have become reality. It is true what they say, good things come to those who wait!
We bought these adorable snowshoes for Jasper and had low expectations for how it might good. We lucked out with Spring like conditions, no rain and it was warm enough Jasper eventually got hot enough to take off his jacket. I am happy to report Jasper took to snowshoeing like a pro. He tackled hills both big and small and loved making new “prints” in the fresh snow. I realize this might be a fluke and next time he might hate it but it was a wonderful few hours spent together in the mountains as a family. Now if only it would dump snow in the next few weeks!
Typically by now these streams would be covered with snow, but we have been experiencing mild Winters these past couple years.
I always feel like kid playing in the snow, but having my child there playing with me was sheer perfection!
His cute little face says it all!
Always outstretching my hand and being told “I can do it myself” Yeah I totally know where this kid gets his independence.
Excited for all our future adventures in the snow!
****For those of you who have asked Jasper’s snow bibs are from Costco, his fleece from Eddie Bauer and his jacket from Hanna Andersson.
